Sf Riders shine at Miami Beach

What an absolutely incredible start for SF-Equestrian riders Jur Vrieling and Bart Bles at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Miami, USA. With a win for Vrieling in the GCT individual competition and another clear round for Bles, the two of them caught the winning bug and delivered once again beautiful clear rounds in the GCL team competition.

In the very first GCL competition of the week at Miami Beach, Jur Vrieling jumped to an amazing victory in the five-star 1.55m class. Not only Vrieling but also Bart Bles proved to be in top shape this week and also managed to produce a beautiful clear round in the first individual competition. On top of that, the pair also shone brightly in the team competition, placing them in a current third place.

Jur Vrieling wins the first individual GCT round with Fiumicino van de Kalevallei

Jur Vrieling could count on the eleven-year-old SBS gelding Fiumicino van de Kalevallei to set the winning time of 63,08 seconds in the first round of the GCT competition. There was no one who could come close to Vrieling’s time to beat and this resulted in an amazing victory for the SF-Equestrian rider. Not only Jur Vrieling but also Bart Bles showed some serious skills in this class. Together with his twelve-year-old BWP horse Kriskras DV, Bles managed to keep all the rails up in this 1.55m course and crossed the finish line with a great clear round that landed him in a fifteenth individual place. There is no doubt that these performances show the enormous quality of the SF-Equestrian riders.

Hamburg Giants land themselves in third place in the team competition

In the GCL team competition, the Hamburg Giants consisting of SF-Equestrian talents Bart Bles and Jur Vrieling continued their flying form from Doha. Vrieling could count on Fiumicino van de Kalevallei and Bart Bles entering the ring with Kriskras DV showed some real promise for the upcoming rounds this week. And boy, did we enjoy these incredible clear rounds of the SF-Equestrian team, the Hamburg Giants! Both riders made it look very easy as they sped to yet another double clear for the team and placing them in a strong advantage for Saturday with a current third place in the team rankings.

These beautiful performances of our SF-Equestrian riders were textbook double clears and show lots of promise for the rest of the week at Miami Beach and for the rest of the Global Champions League season!
